Over the summer, I visited every home in Ward 5 to introduce myself and share why I believe I am the best candidate for Ward 5 Councillor. THANK YOU to everyone who was able to take the time to speak with me. Here's what I heard from you:

to share their thoughts, hopes, and concerns with me. These are some of the common issues I heard about that are important to you:
- Having an engaged and committed councillor
- Efficient use of tax dollars
- Road safety
- Controlled development, specifically the proposed development on the 6th Concession (Brookside)
- Action to move the downtown revitalization plan forward
- Taking care of our assets (e.g., sidewalks, road safety)
- Housing availability
- Trailhead permit parking program
- Environmental sustainability
- Respect for our LGBTQ+ neighbours
My platform is straightforward and speaks to the root of all of these issues: Good Governance. For Uxbridge, I believe this means three things:
1 - Strategic Action: Good plans aren't enough; we need tangible action to move projects forward and responsible voices leading the conversation.
2 - Expertise: The best leaders surround themselves with smart people. We need to do a better job of leveraging the wealth of expertise in our community. Well-advised councils are positioned to make good decisions.
3 - Leadership: Council needs leaders who bring a strong commitment to the job, a broader range of skills, and new perspectives.
I am currently out knocking on doors for a second time to introduce myself if you weren't home the first time I came, and to answer any questions you may still have. If I miss you again and you would like to get a hold of me, please call or text 416.579.2873. I would be delighted to chat, or to arrange a time to stop by when it works for you.
